Comfort Meet & Greet
Building Trust Before Grooming Day
Some dogs just need a little extra time to feel comfortable with someone new. Our Comfort Meet & Greet is designed for puppies, shy or skittish dogs, anxious dogs, and dogs who benefit from getting to know their groomer before their first grooming appointment.
Choose a 15, 30, 45, or 60-minute session in the comfort of your dog's own home.
During each visit, we focus on creating a positive, low-pressure experience. Your dog can meet Laurie, become comfortable with gentle handling, and gradually be introduced to grooming sights, sounds, and equipment.
Depending on your dog's comfort level, introductions may include brushes, combs, nail tools, clippers, trimmers, scissors, dryers, towels, and other grooming equipment. Tools are introduced gradually and safely without forcing your dog beyond their comfort level.
Multiple sessions may be scheduled when needed, allowing us to build on your dog's progress at their own pace.
The Goal
When grooming day arrives, Laurie and the grooming equipment aren't complete strangers. Your dog has already had an opportunity to build trust, become familiar with the process, and hopefully feel more relaxed and confident about their upcoming spa day.

Every dog progresses differently. Meet & Greet sessions cannot guarantee that a dog will tolerate grooming and are not a substitute for veterinary or professional behavioral care when needed.
