Giving Back to Our Community

Helping Dogs & the People Who Love Them

At Holden Paws Dog Grooming, we believe every dog deserves to feel clean, comfortable, and cared for. Giving back means using our grooming skills to support dogs and members of our community who may need a little extra help.

Through our Giving Back Program, we offer a limited number of complimentary and reduced-cost grooming services throughout the year to qualifying shelters, rescues, seniors, individuals with disabilities or mobility limitations, and families experiencing financial hardship.

Shelter Dogs

Complimentary grooming may be provided to dogs currently in the care of local animal shelters.

Services are performed at the shelter's facility and scheduled based on availability, location, and the individual needs of the dog.

Rescue Dogs

We work with qualifying dog rescue organizations to provide complimentary grooming for dogs awaiting adoption or needing grooming as part of their rehabilitation and care.

Services are performed at the rescue's facility and scheduled based on availability.

Seniors Age 80+ With Disabilities or Physical Limitations

Limited complimentary grooming assistance may be available to seniors age 80 or older whose disability or physical limitations make it difficult to transport their dog or safely manage their dog's grooming needs.

An application and approval are required. When approved, we travel to the senior's home and provide grooming there when our schedule and service area permit.

Not 80+? Please Still Reach Out

If you are under age 80 but have a disability, physical limitation, or mobility difficulty that makes transporting your dog or managing their grooming needs difficult, please reach out to us.

Every situation is different. While complimentary grooming cannot be guaranteed, we would still like the opportunity to see how we may be able to help. Our goal is to give back to our community as much as we reasonably can and help make grooming care more accessible to dogs and the people who love them.

Assistance is considered individually and is subject to application, approval, availability, location, service limitations, and the dog's individual needs.

Low-Income Grooming Assistance

We understand that financial hardship can sometimes make it difficult to keep up with a dog's grooming needs.

Reduced-cost grooming services may be available to qualifying low-income individuals and families. An application and approval are required, and assistance is based on availability and individual circumstances.

Important Program Information

Our Giving Back Program is a limited community-assistance program and is not intended to replace regularly scheduled professional grooming.

Availability is based on our current grooming schedule, service area, travel requirements, the dog's individual needs, and our ability to safely provide the requested service.

The number and type of complimentary or reduced-cost services available to an individual, household, shelter, or rescue may be limited each year.

All dogs must meet applicable health, vaccination, temperament, behavior, and safety requirements. Not every grooming service or situation can be accommodated through this program.

Limited spaces are available. Submitting an application or request does not guarantee approval, complimentary or reduced-cost services, or an appointment. Restrictions apply.

Know Someone Who Could Use Our Help?

If you represent a local shelter or dog rescue, know someone with a disability or mobility limitation who may need assistance, or would like to apply for our low-income grooming program, please contact us and tell us a little about the dog and the help that is needed.
