Holden Paws Dog Grooming offers professional grooming from my in-home grooming studio in Pasadena, Maryland. This option is designed for clients who prefer to bring their dog to me rather than have grooming performed inside their own home.
Dogs are groomed in a smaller, home-based environment where appointments can be personalized around each dog's coat, grooming needs, temperament, age, and comfort.
Grooming Studio Services
Bath & Brush
A refreshing bath and coat-care service to leave your dog clean, fresh, brushed, and comfortable.
Full Groom
Complete grooming customized to your dog's breed, coat type, coat condition, desired style, and individual needs.
Haircuts & Trims
Professional haircuts, scissoring, and maintenance trims to keep your dog's coat comfortable, manageable, and looking its best.
Deshedding
Coat care to help remove loose hair and undercoat and reduce everyday shedding. Some coat types and heavy blowouts are temporarily excluded; see the studio limitations below.
Nail & Paw Care
Nail trimming, nail grinding when appropriate, paw-pad trimming, and basic paw maintenance.
Face, Feet & Sanitary Trims
Maintenance trimming for the areas that often need a little extra attention between complete grooming appointments.
Puppy Grooming
Gentle grooming introductions designed to help puppies become comfortable with bathing, brushing, drying, nail care, grooming tools, and handling.
Senior Dog Grooming
Patient, individualized grooming for older dogs, with services adjusted when needed for comfort, mobility, stamina, and safety.
À La Carte Services
Individual grooming and maintenance services are available for dogs that don't need a complete grooming appointment.
Current Studio Size & Coat Limitations
At this time, my in-home grooming studio is accepting smaller dogs under 40 lbs.
I am not currently accepting heavy-coat blowouts or large double-coated breeds such as Huskies, German Shepherds, Malamutes, and similar dogs at my home studio. My current space and equipment are not yet set up to comfortably accommodate the amount of coat and drying required for these services.
Once my new grooming studio is completed, these dogs will be welcome! The new space is being designed and equipped to safely and comfortably accommodate a wider variety of breeds, sizes, coat types, and grooming needs.
Two Convenient Grooming Options
Holden Paws currently offers both in-home grooming at your home and grooming at my home studio for qualifying dogs.
For grooming at your home, I travel to you, use your bathtub or other suitable bathing area, and bring my professional grooming supplies and equipment.
For grooming at my home studio, you bring your dog to me in Pasadena and pick them up when their grooming appointment is complete.
