Upcoming Grooming for a Cause events will be posted here as they are scheduled.

At Holden Paws Dog Grooming, giving back to our community also means helping the dogs who are still waiting for families of their own. Grooming for a Cause is our community event program created to bring local dog lovers together while raising money to support shelter dogs in need.

Throughout the year, we may host special grooming events where proceeds from designated services are donated to participating animal shelters or used to directly benefit shelter dogs. Depending on the event, services may include nail trims, brushing, mini-grooms, baths, or other special event services.

By participating in a Grooming for a Cause event, you're not only caring for your own dog—you’re helping provide support for dogs waiting for their second chance.

Funds raised may help participating shelters with needs such as food, veterinary care, grooming, bedding, enrichment supplies, and other necessities for dogs in their care.

Community Events

Each Grooming for a Cause event may support a different shelter, rescue effort, or specific need. Event details will be posted in advance and may include the date, location, available grooming services, participation requirements, pricing or suggested donation, and the shelter or cause benefiting from the event.

Local shelters, rescues, groomers, pet-related businesses, and community volunteers who would like to participate in a future event are welcome to reach out about opportunities to work together.

You don’t need a grooming appointment to make a difference!
