This portfolio is a collection of my grooming work and is designed to showcase my experience with dogs of different breeds, sizes, coat types, temperaments, and grooming needs.

Dog grooming is a skill that continues to grow with experience. Every dog is different, and every groom provides an opportunity to continue learning, refining techniques, and expanding my knowledge of coat care, breed styles, handling, and safe grooming practices.

Throughout my portfolio, you'll find examples of full-service grooms, baths and blowouts, de-shedding, coat transformations, nail and paw care, trimming, scissoring, breed-style grooming, and other services.

You'll also see dogs with a variety of coat types—from short and double coats to long, silky, curly, wool, feathered, and specialty coats.

Some photos may document my education and training journey, while others showcase my professional grooming work as my portfolio continues to grow.

Every Dog Is Different

A beautiful groom is important, but your dog's comfort and safety always come first.

Dogs don't all respond to grooming the same way. Age, health, coat condition, previous grooming experiences, temperament, and comfort with grooming equipment can all affect what can safely be accomplished during an appointment.

I believe in working with each individual dog rather than forcing a groom simply to achieve a particular look. When necessary, services may be adjusted to meet the dog's individual needs and comfort level.

As Holden Paws Dog Grooming grows, I'll continue adding new breeds, coat types, grooming styles, techniques, educational experiences, and some of the wonderful dogs I have the opportunity to work with.

My goal is to never stop learning and improving, even long after my formal grooming education is complete.
